He grew up surrounded by aviation. His father worked for several well-known companies as a mechanic and Chief Inspector before opening his own repair station, where he instilled in him the importance of precision and integrity in aircraft maintenance “Check, double-check, and re-check your double check.”
In 1990, he began his career at a 145 Repair Station, overhauling starter generators and other electro-mechanical components. In the early 2000s, he transitioned into sales, and by December, founded Meritt Aviation, Inc.
Guided by lessons from his father “One good test is worth a thousand expert opinions” he built Meritt on the principles of quality, honesty, and connection. Today, his focus remains on bridging customers, vendors, and aircraft components to deliver the best-value rotables and innovative solutions in corporate aviation.
With a strong background in aviation marketing, Charity led the marketing operations of a 145 Repair Station before co-founding Meritt Aviation with Tommy. After helping establish and grow the company, she shifted her focus toward strategic support and community involvement while raising their family. Today, with their children grown, she continues to contribute to Meritt’s vision, culture, and long-term success.

Part of the Meritt Aviation family since 2012, he began his journey as a Repair Order Coordinator, learning the ins and outs of the repair and overhaul world while building strong relationships with vendors across the globe. In 2024, he transitioned into Sales, carrying those valuable relationships forward and bringing the same dedication and personal touch to our customers. Earned his degree in Kinesiology from the University of Central Oklahoma before joining Meritt Aviation in May 2022. He oversees the Landing Gear Exchange Program, coordinating repairs and sourcing parts and components to ensure quality and efficiency across Meritt’s operations.
Responsible for shipping and receiving, verifying paperwork on incoming and outgoing shipments, and overall organization of warehouse inventory.
Joined Meritt in 2022. Recently moved into Repair Order Management and continues to support the day-to-day operations at Meritt Aviation in Inventory Control, Logistics, and Aircraft Part Processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process. He has a hands-on approach and attention to detail and strive to help keep the team organized and parts moving efficiently.
Joined Meritt to make the leap from the business side of Healthcare to Business Aviation. With a strong background in systems and process optimization, her focus is on business growth and operational efficiency. She is passionate about collaborating with our customers and vendors to create innovative repair solutions, streamline sales operations, and drive sustainable growth.
Leading the accounting and IT side since 2004. Maintains an infrastructure that allows Meritt to continue to grow and accomplish our goals.
Joined USAF in 1984 as an Inventory Management Specialist, and managed cores, work orders and accounting functions for Meritt since 2005.
Joined Meritt Aviation in early 2023 and manages invoicing, returns, and accounts receivable to support daily operations.
A husband, dad, and lifelong craftsman, Tommy enjoys spending time with Charity and their kids, three of whom now work alongside them at Meritt, while the others are pursuing college and new opportunities. When he’s not in the kitchen cooking or in the shop working on his next project, you’ll find him and Charity on the road, traveling cross-country on their motorcycles or exploring new places in their RV.
Charity finds joy in family, faith, and the continued growth of Meritt Aviation. With three of their seven children now part of the Meritt team and the others chasing their dreams in college and life, she’s proud to see each of them find their place. When she’s not supporting the company’s vision, Charity loves time on the road with Tommy, whether riding motorcycles or discovering new destinations together.

Hobbies: hunting, fishing, and golf. I do the first two a lot better than the last one. Passionate about teaching young kids gun safety and pre-1840's survival skills.
When not at work, you can usually find him traveling, catching a concert, or spending time with friends and family. Life is short, so enjoy every moment—never turn down a beach, a cold beer, or live music!

Outside of work, He enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, watching basketball, and connecting with his family. Maintaining a strong balance between work and family is important to him, and he values the time he gets to spend with the people who matter most.
Away from work, Tim enjoys time with his family, date nights, staying active, and getting outdoors whenever possible. Family trips to the beach or mountains are always a highlight.
Enjoys spending her free time traveling or on the lake with her awesome husband and their 2 amazing children. She loves DIY projects and has the scars (and missing thumb) to prove it! If not traveling, on the lake, or bringing another vision to life, you can find her in the kitchen whipping up something delicious.

I am a wife to the best husband in the world and a mom to both humans and lots of pets. I love to laugh, read, relax and have fun and oh yeah laugh some more. Tequila and vodka help with the having fun and laughter!!!
