You won't find a sales team with more experience actually working with the parts and accessories we sell.
We've worked as mechanics, chief inspectors, instrument specialists, and production managers for repair stations and most of the corporate jet brands we help supply.
This is what make us the best resource for solving your worst jet part headaches.
I grew up around the aviation world. My dad worked for several well-known companies as a mechanic and Chief Inspector before opening his own repair station. He taught me the most important element about working on aircraft: “Check, Double Check and Re-Check your Double Check”. Dad also taught me that, ‘one good test is worth a thousand expert opinions”, “an idiot with a college diploma is the most dangerous thing on earth”, and a thousand other bits of wisdom that I hope to pass on to my kids.
In 1990, I went to work for a 145 Repair Station. I worked on the bench, overhauling Starter Generators and other Electro-Mechanical accessories. Early 2000 brought a move into Sales, and by December, I left there to start Meritt Aviation, Inc. Our goal is to establish and maintain connections between customers, repair/overhaul vendors and aircraft parts so that we can provide best value rotables and innovative solutions to corporate aviation.
With a background in aviation marketing, Charity headed up the marketing end of a 145 Repair Station before starting Meritt Aviation with Tommy. After several years of growing the company, she has excused herself from daily operations to focus on their family.
34+ years experience in repairing or selling jet instruments and accessories. Locating parts and repair facilities is my specialty.
8+ years as a mechanic and manager at a 145 repair station, followed by 16+ years in sales/customer support. Whatever your question, I can help.

Responsible for shipping and receiving, verifying paperwork on incoming and outgoing shipments, and overall organization of warehouse inventory.
A&P licensed with a background in heavy maintenance, as well as line service and airport operations. I focus on aircraft tear down for Meritt.
I have been with Meritt since 2009. My main responsibility is overseeing the collection of inventory from aircraft.
Leading the accounting and IT side since 2004. I maintain an infrastructure that allows Meritt to continue to grow and accomplish our goals.
Joined USAF in 1984 as an Inventory Management Specialist, and managed cores, work orders and accounting functions for Meritt since 2005.
My hobbies include bad golf, Little League Football and Baseball and I am passionate about loving my wife, raising our 6 kids, and giving.
I’ll eat about anything except: beets, boiled rhubarb, or meat off the bone.
My favorite is steak and I can eat my weight in Sushi. I like Vodka, Bud Light, and Crown (sometimes all at once).
Mom, teacher, and business woman. When she's not home schooling three of their six children, she is the voice of reason when big decisions need to be made from a perspective outside the daily chaos that Tommy creates.
The good life is family, golf, cigars, and a glass of good scotch.
Hobbies: hunting, fishing, and golf. I do the first two a lot better than the last one. Passionate about teaching young kids gun safety and pre-1840's survival skills.
After years of diligent work, we finally got him to wear shoes to work most days. He is building a nice new kennel at the lake, and a house to go with it. If he’s not hanging at the house, he’s watching his kids play softball or baseball.
I'm an avid basketball player (when his foot doesn’t hurt) and little league coach.
I'm a ground coordinator for air shows throughout the U.S., and known as Meritt's most insubordinate employee. I keep Brad on his toes and everyone else running for cover.
I am what you would call a typical Oklahoma redneck. Love to fish, hunt and be in the outdoors. Sooners and OKC Thunder take over my T.V when they are playing.
It has been said that Teamwork is having someone else to blame when everything gets screwed up. Well, I am ‘that’ somebody at Meritt Aviation.
I am a wife to the best husband in the world and a mom to both humans and lots of pets. I love to laugh, read, relax and have fun and oh yeah laugh some more. Tequila and vodka help with the having fun and laughter!!!
